The beginning
I found out about Postcrossing from Kev. It appealed to me from the first moment, since I used to collect postcards when I was a little child. It took almost a month to actually send the first postcards, but I did and very pleased about what followed.
My postcrossing experience is quite a thing. First of all, I am a great buyer, so I bought a lot of postcards to choose from. City view of all sorts, art cards, I even put my Japanese postcard collection to work. All received postcards were sharing a nice shoebox, after which I decided to put them in albums, in chronological order, with a label with info regarding the user, date, country. I keep the scanned postcards in special folders and, starting today, on this special website.
I am almost at 100 received and 100 sent postcards, not including the private swap postcards and thank you cards (the ones I received and sent in return to my sent or received postcards).
I have 23 private-swap postcard friends, out of which two are regular swapers - kbouilly from Portugal (13 swaps so far) and A-Ru (3 swaps).
I will tag nicely each card, so you can find easily what you are interested in. If you are a Postcrossing user and want to trade, let me know. If you are from Romania looking for nice cards or stamps to buy, I would gladly help.
Happy postcrossing :)
